Green Eco Technologies - 2025 In Review
2025 has been a year of steady growth and expanding influence for Green Eco Technologies with key milestones including wider international recognition, strengthened partnerships and meaningful engagement across industry, academia and government. Throughout the year, the company has continued to advance its mission to reduce food waste and deliver practical circular economy solutions and at the same time continue to build momentum across global markets.
Recognition, Leadership and Global Engagement
The year began with significant international recognition when Green Eco Technologies was named in the Food Tech 500 list, placing the company among the world’s leading food technology innovators. This achievement highlighted its impact at the intersection of sustainability, technology and food systems. Soon after, Green Eco Technologies was announced as a finalist in the Circular Economy Award at the Banksia National Sustainability Awards, reinforcing its leadership in delivering practical, scalable circular economy solutions.
This leadership was further recognised later in the year when our CEO Moses Lim was named a finalist in the 2025 Executive of the Year Awards. This individual recognition reflected not only Moses’ vision and leadership, but also the collective efforts of the team in driving innovation, purpose and long-term impact across the business.
Throughout 2025 we have worked to strengthen our role as a thought leader through education and engagement. The team represented by GCC Sales and Operations Director Iris Medalle presented to college students at JA The Resort in Dubai, inspiring future leaders with real-world insights into food waste reduction and circular innovation. This commitment continued with a guest speaking engagement at United Arab Emirates University, where discussions focused on food loss, waste and the role of technology in building sustainable food systems.
Partnerships, Policy and Collaboration
Mid-year marked an important milestone when Green Eco Technologies was invited to participate in the UAE Food Loss and Waste Baseline Study, demonstrating trust in the company’s expertise and its contribution to national sustainability objectives. During the same period, the company announced a new UAE partnership with Perduterra, focused on transforming WasteMaster residue into nutrient-rich compost and other valuable resources, extending circular outcomes beyond food waste processing.
International collaboration has remained a strong theme over the past twelve months. Green Eco Technologies welcomed a business delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry to its Australian facilities, fostering cross-border knowledge exchange. Group General Manager David Pinker and the team had the opportunity to provide a guided tour of our manufacturing facilities, introducing delegates to our WasteMaster technology, followed by an in-depth presentation of our food waste reduction technology. As part of the China-Australia Business Exchange and Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting, the company also had the opportunity to participate in a business delegation visit to the Tianjin Economic Development Area, strengthening relationships in China and exploring future opportunities for technology deployment and market expansion.
Innovation, Education and Looking Ahead
In the second half of the year, we continued to support innovation ecosystems and market development. The company contributed to the NEXUS Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ceremony, helping connect innovators from Nanjing and Melbourne and reinforcing the importance of international collaboration. Awarded 1st Prize in the 2023 competition, the company was delighted to be invited back to participate in the 2025 Awards presentation and Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony, represented by Abraham Lim, GET Commercial Director for Asia. In the UAE, Green Eco Technologies participated in ne’ma’s “Unlocking Market Access for Food Innovators and SMEs” workshop, engaging in discussions around governance, policy, finance and pathways to market for sustainable food businesses.
Academic collaboration has been an important part of our work in UAE with the delivery of a presentation on food waste valorisation at Abu Dhabi University, highlighting practical approaches to converting waste into valuable resources. The year concluded with Green Eco Technologies joining the Austrade Green Economy Mission to Thailand, participating in ASEAN’s largest sustainability event and engaging with regional leaders advancing the Bio-Circular-Green economy agenda.
The milestones of 2025 reflect growing momentum and expansion into new markets while staying true to our core mission. Through recognition, collaboration, education and innovation, Green Eco Technologies continues to demonstrate that addressing food waste is both an environmental imperative and a powerful opportunity to create lasting economic and social value as it looks ahead to 2026 and beyond.
