Green Eco Technologies Invited To Participate In UAE Food Loss And Waste Baseline Study

Green Eco Technologies was honoured to join ne’ma’s recent UAE Food Loss and Waste Baseline Study workshop and onboarding session. This important and collaborative initiative lays the groundwork for meaningful action, emphasising the guiding principle that ‘you can’t manage what you can’t measure.’

With an estimated 3.27 million tonnes of food wasted annually in the UAE, much of it ends up in landfill where it generates harmful greenhouse gases and wastes valuable resources.

At Green Eco Technologies, our unique and impactful WasteMaster solution supports this by measuring the volume of food waste and providing real-time data through our cloud-based partner dashboard.

We applaud ne’ma’s leadership in uniting the stakeholders and GET are proud to support the UAE’s target of halving food loss and waste by 2030. This aligns with the National Food Security Strategy 2051, United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12.3, and reflects the vision of the UAE President.
