Green Eco Technologies Presentation On Food Waste Valorisation at Abu Dhabi University
Green Eco Technologies is proud to have participated in an inspiring session on food waste valorisation at Abu Dhabi University. Our GCC Sales and Operations Director Iris Medalle led a presentation on our WasteMaster technology, with gratitude to Dr. Sabeera Haris for the invitation and for hosting such an engaging and thought provoking workshop. Green Eco Technologies Chairman Peter Nathan was also in attendance in the UAE for the event to be part of critical conversations on food waste in the region and worldwide.
Iris Medalle commented, "Collaborating with academia and passionate champions like Dr. Nuha Mustafa, who leads impactful food loss and waste initiatives at United Arab Emirates University, inspires real change. We remain committed to one of ne'ma's strategic pillars of change, Awareness and Behavior Change, to reduce food loss and waste across the UAE. We look forward to building future partnerships that transform food waste into high-value products, close the loop, and drive a circular economy."
Green Eco Technologies’ WasteMaster system supports ne’ma’s bold and ambitious strategic aims through monitoring tools to strengthen measurement and reporting, innovative food waste prevention and recycling platforms to divert waste from landfill, and circular economy solutions to transform unavoidable waste into valuable resources, such as our work with Perduterra.
With a committed presence in the UAE, Green Eco Technologies is able to support businesses, communities, and government, working together to reduce and reuse food waste to fulfil both national food-security and sustainability goals.
