Driving Sustainable Food Systems: Green Eco Technologies at Growtech Middle East Forum

Green Eco Technologies was pleased to be represented at the Growtech Middle East Forum, which brought together industry leaders, experts and stakeholders to explore the future of agriculture, food production and sustainability across the region.

Iris Medalle, our Sales and Operations Director for GCC, attended the forum, engaging with important discussions around some of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region's most pressing challenges, including food security, water scarcity and climate change.

The conversations highlighted the growing need to rethink how food is produced, managed and consumed as pressure on natural resources continues to increase. Reducing food loss and waste is an increasingly important part of this challenge, offering opportunities to conserve valuable resources while supporting more sustainable food systems.

It’s important to recognise that addressing food waste goes beyond preventing edible food from being discarded. It also means protecting the water, energy and resources invested throughout the food production and supply chain. Through our innovative food waste management solutions, we are committed to helping businesses reduce waste, make better use of resources and minimise their environmental impact.

As the region continues to prioritise food security and environmental sustainability, collaboration and knowledge sharing will play an important role in driving meaningful progress. Green Eco Technologies remains committed to contributing to these conversations and supporting the transition towards a more circular and sustainable food system.

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to the Growtech Middle East Forum organisers, Goumbook and all the speakers for bringing these important topics to the forefront and providing a valuable platform for industry engagement and collaboration.
