Held in June, Exponor brought together mining companies, technology providers and industry decision-makers from around the world. As part of a delegation of 11 Victorian METS companies, Green Eco Technologies engaged with major mining organisations and industry stakeholders, strengthening existing relationships while exploring new partnerships.
The Victorian Government-led mission generated more than 60 business meetings between Victorian companies and mining organisations, with introductions to 10 of the region’s leading mining companies. Exponor provides a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how innovative food waste management solutions can contribute to more sustainable mining operations.
Mining sites can face significant challenges in managing food waste, particularly in remote locations where large workforces and catering operations generate substantial volumes of organic waste. Green Eco Technologies is helping address this challenge through technology designed to deliver smarter, more sustainable food waste outcomes.
The successful mission demonstrated the strong potential for collaboration between Victoria and Chile’s mining ecosystems, while showcasing the capabilities of Victorian METS companies in addressing important sustainability challenges.
Green Eco Technologies looks forward to building on the relationships established at Exponor 2026 and continuing to support the mining sector’s transition towards systems that reduce food waste, improve operational outcomes and contribute to a more sustainable industry.
