IKEA Dubai Festival City - WasteMaster Partnership

Green Eco Technologies is thrilled to announce our new partner IKEA Dubai Festival City, a collaboration to totally repurpose food & organic waste generated from their restaurant.

Since going live on April 01, we have diverted 18,435.50 kgs of food waste from landfill, also avoiding the daily onsite collection and unnecessary trucks on the road.

The overall process reduces the volume by up to 80% into a high calorific value residue, that is now only being collected every 15 days and repurposed.

As of July 31, 2021, IKEA have saved 32 tonnes of CO2-eq emissions.

We estimate diverting 60,000 kgs in the initial 12 months and saving 96 tonnes of CO2-eq emissions, which is equivalent to approximately 28 cars being taken off the road.

We are pleased to provide our #WasteMaster as a complete solution to support IKEA in achieving one of their primary goals “to send zero food waste to landfill”.

Please continue to follow our journey to hear more about where their residue is being repurposed.
