Green Eco Technologies Attends The World Future Energy Summit in UAE

Green Eco Technologies recently attended the World Future Energy Summit in UAE and had the opportunity to exhibit and present our food waste valorisation system WasteMaster to delegates at the event, in partnership with the fantastic team at ne’ma. The three-day summit took place from 16th-18th April at the state-of-the-art ADNEC in Dubai, providing incredible opportunities to champion the importance of sustainability for the planet today and for future generations to come.

“We are grateful to ne'ma for their support and partnership in making this event a success.” commented Iris Medalle for Green Eco Technologies. “The World Future Energy Summit plays a crucial role in bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to address pressing issues such as food waste and sustainability.”

“Food loss and waste in the UAE pose a significant economic, social, and environmental challenges. Over 80% of consumed food are imported and based on the global estimates 30 - 40% is wasted. Our partnership with ne'ma emphasises our commitment to the National Food Loss and Waste Initiatives, aligning with the UAE national goals to reduce food loss and waste by 50% by 2030 and the UAE leadership's vision for sustainability and food security.”

“Events like these not only allow us to showcase our WasteMaster solution but also provide a platform to meet like-minded individuals and explore collaboration opportunities. Collaboration is vital to achieving our goal and creating a more sustainable UAE.”

As part of our presence at WFES, Green Eco Technologies produced a new infographic detailing the food waste challenge in UAE which can be seen below. You can also watch a short video of our time at the event.
