Green Eco Technologies partners with Lumitics in the fight against foodwaste

Green Eco Technologies is proud to partner with Singaporean business Lumitics, this collaboration brings together two progressive, leading edge and innovative companies to tackle the global food waste challenge of reducing the negative environmental impacts of food waste.

This important partnership is key to delivering the required action needed globally now to conserve our resources, improve the environmental impact and fiscal impact of food waste.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations, one third of all food produced for human consumption is wasted every year, causing a staggering 14% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions.

This collaboration will provide a suite of solutions to identify, measure, manage and reduce avoidable food waste and then recycle that waste that is unavoidable into a valuable resource to be used for the benefit of the community and the global environment

Lumitics introduces Insight, the world’s most seamless smart food waste tracker that use AI and machine learning to track all food waste in kitchens. With Insight, chefs will know exactly how much and what food waste is generated. After all, how can a kitchen reduce its food waste if it does not even know what is thrown away, how much is thrown away and when this waste is being generated?
