The WasteMaster is scalable and ideal in its standard configurations for any organization that produces between 250 - 750 kilograms of food waste per day. Custom solutions are available for larger volumes or sites with particular needs.
Using our proprietary technology, the WasteMaster can reduce the weight and volume of organic waste by up to 80% in a very short time, normally between 10 – 24 hours, but still retain the calorific value and nutrients, whereas composting takes weeks and consumes some of the nutrients in the waste. The WasteMaster process also minimizes odors and emissions commonly associated with other food waste management processes.
Like the WasteMaster system most dehydrators are capable of processing all types of organic waste in a short space of time. However, dehydrators use extreme temperatures to ‘cook’ the waste. This requires large amounts of power as well as destroying the nutrient and calorific value of the waste
WasteMaster can be deployed as a batch loading system or as a continual loading system, depending on which best fits with your current processes. This means you can be loading waste as often and whenever your process requires it. The total amount you can load depends on the size of the system you install.
To avoid overfilling, WasteMaster constantly monitors the weight and volume of the waste being processed. When the waste hits the maximum volume threshold a red light will indicate that it is full and the loading door will lock. This means there is no way you can overload the WasteMaster.
No. Unlike many other systems WasteMaster does not use micro-organisms to process waste. For this reason, there is no need to constantly monitor the system to ensure optimal conditions to keep microorganisms alive. As WasteMaster doesn’t use these you will never have offensive odours caused by microorganisms going bad.
No. The WasteMaster does not require any input other than electricity - and of course your food waste)
Nothing. All you need to do is load your food waste into the system. There is no need to monitor microorganism levels, water temperature, or weight. You don’t need to clean down the system, add anything, or replace filters. The system runs and monitors itself and feeds back to our service centre on the rare occasion that it may need attention. When this happens a trained engineer will attend site immediately to rectify any interruption to the process.
No, WasteMaster can run continuously. During periods of low usage WasteMaster will automatically turn down its settings and will only operate at the level required to process the amount of waste being loaded.
However, if the system is ever powered down due to disruption of the power supply or the emergency stop button is pressed, it will need to be manually started. T this consists of pressing two buttons once you ensure it is safe to do so. For safety this cannot be done remotely or automatically.
None. Unlike older technologies, WasteMaster does not require any water or liquid to be added to the system.
WasteMaster is possibly the most robust system on the market and will continue to operate even if contaminates are mixed in with the waste. However, the more contamination the less efficient the system will be. If the contamination level gets too high it may require an engineer to attend, which may incur a charge if it happens on a regular basis.
Yes. WasteMaster is programmed to offload a valuable residual material that can be reused as a fuel, as animal fodder or as a fertiliser. This will typically be when the waste has reduced by 80%. This converted residue is of a great consistency to handle and re-purpose.
As all installed WasteMasters are constantly monitored 24/7 any problem will be responded to immediately. Most issues can be resolved remotely but if an engineer is required on site they will typically be there within
Once the WasteMaster is installed, your dedicated Account Manager will conduct training sessions for all of your staff members to ensure that WasteMaster’s technology and use is adopted effectively across your organization. As your staff are required to do very little other than simply load the waste, the training is very straight forward.. We do however explain the concepts of the system, how it is helping to reduce the environmental impact of the site and why staff need to work together to reduce the contaminants in the food waste stream

No. In fact it is helpful. The WasteMaster is designed to recycle your waste into a value resource that can be used for a number of different applications. But no matter how it ends up being used, it is not harmful to people in any way.
