The well-attended event comprised thought-provoking presentations, discussion sessions and an exhibition of the latest product innovations from healthcare suppliers.

Commenting on the event, Andrew Emery – Regional Sales Manager for GET, said: ‘The HEFMA Forum was an excellent opportunity to meet senior healthcare estates and facilities decision makers and we were delighted at the interest shown in our food waste disposal solution.

‘Visitors were very committed to reducing their food waste prior to consumption through better training and management, and re-purposing unavoidable food waste for future positive use such as the production of green energy. We were delighted with the conversations we had at the HEFMA event and look forward to continuing discussions with those we met.’

The WasteMaster system recycles and repurposes food and organic waste on site without adding water or any other additives during the process, providing a reduced-impact alternative to landfill-destined waste or processes requiring water and waste discharge to sewers and water courses.

With a range of options available for users with different food waste volume disposal requirements, the WasteMaster system can be easily installed on site as there is no need for either piped water or sewerage services, just an electrical connection and an air outlet.
