Green Eco Technologies commits to Ministry of Climate Change and Environment’s UAE Food Waste Pledge

Green Eco Technologies (GET) is proud to announce the partnership with Ministry of Climate Change & Environment (MoCCaE) to strengthen the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Food Waste Pledge in the drive to reduce and divert food waste from landfill and aim to achieve UAE Net Zero 2050 and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

WasteMaster is a unique patented technology that repurposes food and organic waste onsite. It is suitable for all sectors that are producing a medium to high volume of food and organic waste – hotels, hospitality, hospitals, residences/communities, catering facilities, staff accommodations, universities, airports, etc.

The solution not only provides data on food and organic waste that has been processed and repurposed into a valuable resource thus closing the loop, but without the use of water, chemicals or any additives.

“GET Regional Director – MEA, William Ward together with Iris Medalle signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MoCCaE in the presence of His Excellency Essa Al Hashmi, Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Communities Sector, and with the support of the Australian Government represented by Xavier Simonet, Chief Executive Officer - Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), and Sharooq Khajotia, Senior Business Development Manager - Food & Agribusiness at Austrade Dubai.

GET continues to work with partners on awareness and educational programs regarding food waste in support of the circular economy, which is recognized by MoCCaE as part of the initiative.

GET would like to thank Australian Trade Commission and Global Victoria for their valued support during this journey.
