National Recycling Awards Nomination for Green Eco Technologies and Westfield Stratford City

The National Recycling Awards were announced in a live broadcast on 5th September, with Green Eco Technologies and Westfield Stratford City honoured to have jointly received nominations in two categories, ‘Food Waste Initiative’ and ‘Energy Innovation’.

Since January 2021, the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre has utilised our WasteMaster system to manage and repurpose food waste on-site. We’re incredibly proud of our work with their team who have been consistent and supportive advocates for WasteMaster. From the outset Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield had a clear set of aims for tackling their food waste; sustainability, reliability and simplicity of use. Their innovative approach firmly aligns with our values and operation, and the Green Eco Technologies team are honoured to have jointly received this recognition.

The MRW National Recycling Awards 2023 are the largest and most prestigious awards in the recycling and resource management sector. The final awards ceremony is to be held at City Central at the HAC, London, with over 550 people expected to attend on 16th November 2023. Our thanks go to MRW and the National Recycling Awards team for this recognition, and we look forward to attending the ceremony later this year.
